This Editorial Policy explains how ReadLearn researches, writes, reviews, updates, and corrects its content, and the standards every article is held to before and after publication.
Last updated: September 29, 2026ReadLearn exists to publish clear, accurate, and useful articles that help readers make better decisions. Our editorial standards are built around three commitments: independence from anyone who pays or partners with us, accuracy in what we publish, and transparency about how we make money and how we work.
Independent
Advertisers, affiliate partners, and sponsors never control what we write or how we rate a product.
Accurate
Claims are researched, checked against reliable sources, and corrected quickly when we get something wrong.
Transparent
Affiliate links, sponsored content, guest contributions, and AI use are disclosed, not hidden.
Our Mission
ReadLearn publishes educational articles, guides, reviews, and comparisons for people who need practical information they can act on. We aim to be a source that readers can trust because we explain our reasoning, show our sources, and are open about our limits. Our content is written for readers first and search engines second.
What We Publish
To help readers understand what they are reading, our content falls into a few clear types:
- Guides and tutorials: step-by-step explanations based on research and, where possible, first-hand experience.
- Reviews and comparisons: assessments of tools, software, or services based on testing, documented features, and verified information available at the time of writing.
- News and analysis: updates on changes affecting our topics, with sources linked.
- Guest and contributed articles: content written by outside authors, reviewed by our editor and labeled with the author’s name and bio.
- Sponsored content: paid or partner-supported articles, always clearly labeled as such.
Editorial Independence
Our editorial decisions are made separately from our business relationships. Topics, opinions, rankings, ratings, and conclusions in our independent articles are decided by our editorial team alone.
- Advertisers, affiliate partners, and sponsors cannot pay for a positive review, a higher ranking, or the removal of criticism.
- A product or service is recommended only when we believe it is useful to readers, whether or not an affiliate program exists.
- Tools and products may sometimes be provided free of charge for testing. This never guarantees coverage or a favorable opinion, and any such arrangement is disclosed.
- Commercial relationships do not change our findings, and we will include drawbacks and limitations even for products we earn commissions from.
Research & Sourcing Standards
Every article should be built on evidence, not assumption. Our writers and editors follow these standards:
- Facts, statistics, and technical claims should come from primary or reputable sources, such as official documentation, company announcements, research papers, government or industry data, and recognized publications.
- Sources are linked in the article where a reader would reasonably want to verify a claim.
- Pricing, features, and policies are checked against the provider’s own website at the time of writing.
- Where information is uncertain, disputed, or based on limited data, we say so instead of presenting it as settled.
- Income figures, ranking results, and case studies are presented as examples, not typical or guaranteed outcomes.
How We Review Products & Tools
When we review or compare software, AI tools, or services, we base our assessment on hands-on testing where it is practical, along with the provider’s documentation and publicly available information. We consider factors such as features, ease of use, pricing, value, limitations, and the needs of different types of users. Because products change often, reviews reflect what we knew at the time of publication and are updated when important details change. Ratings and rankings are our own opinion and are never sold.
Use of AI in Our Content
We are transparent about how AI tools are used at ReadLearn:
- AI tools may be used to assist with research, outlining, brainstorming, grammar checking, or editing suggestions.
- Every article is planned, reviewed, fact-checked, and approved by a human before it is published.
- Experience-based claims, opinions, reviews, and test results must come from real people and real testing, not from AI-generated text.
- If an image or other media is AI-generated, we label it where that matters for understanding.
- We do not publish raw, unreviewed AI output as finished content.
- We do not use AI to invent quotes, sources, statistics, testimonials, or personal experiences.
Authors, Editors & Contributors
Articles are written by ReadLearn’s own authors or by guest contributors with relevant knowledge or experience. Each article is edited for accuracy, clarity, originality, and usefulness before publication. Guest authors are credited by name, with a short bio, and their views may not always match ReadLearn’s own. Anyone interested in contributing can read our Write for Us page for our guest post guidelines.

Sponsored Content, Affiliate Links & Advertising
ReadLearn is supported by advertising through Google AdSense, affiliate commissions, and occasional sponsorships. This is how we keep the site free to read. To protect readers:
- Affiliate links are used only for products and services we consider relevant and useful, and are disclosed on the site.
- Sponsored articles and paid placements are labeled clearly and are kept separate from our independent editorial content.
- Advertisers and sponsors do not review, approve, or influence independent articles before publication.
- Ads on the site are provided by third parties, and appearing next to an article does not mean we endorse the advertiser.
More details are available in our Disclaimer.
Originality, Copyright & Images
We expect all content published on ReadLearn to be original. Plagiarism, content spinning, and copying from other websites are not accepted. When we reference another source, we paraphrase it in our own words, quote it only briefly, and credit and link to the original. Images, screenshots, and graphics must be created by us, properly licensed, or used with permission. If you believe something on our site infringes your rights, please contact us so we can review it promptly.
Corrections & Updates
We work hard to be accurate, but mistakes can happen and the topics we cover change quickly. When we find or are told about an error, we act on it.
If an article contains a factual error, we will correct it, and if the error is significant, we will add a note at the top or bottom of the article explaining what changed. We don’t quietly rewrite the record on important mistakes.
- Report it. Send the article link, the incorrect statement, and, if you can, a source for the correct information to corrections@readlearn.blog or through the Contact page.
- We review it. Our editor checks the claim against reliable sources. We aim to review reports within 5 business days.
- We fix it. Confirmed errors are corrected as quickly as possible, and significant changes are noted on the article.
- We follow up. Where you provided contact details, we let you know the outcome.
Beyond corrections, we regularly review older articles. Guides, reviews, and comparisons are updated when tools, pricing, algorithms, or standards change, and outdated content that can’t be fixed may be revised, merged, or removed. Where it helps readers, the article shows when it was last updated.
Conflicts of Interest
If an author, editor, or contributor has a financial or personal relationship with a product, company, or service featured in an article, this must be disclosed to the editor. Where relevant, we disclose it to readers as well. Content may be reassigned, changed, or not published if a conflict of interest can’t be managed fairly.
Comments & Reader Feedback
We welcome comments, questions, and constructive criticism. Comments are moderated, and we may remove those that are abusive, spammy, misleading, promotional, or unlawful. Reader feedback helps us improve our articles, and useful suggestions may lead to updates or new content.
No Professional Advice
Our content is educational and general. It is not financial, legal, tax, medical, or other professional advice, and it should not replace advice from a qualified professional. See our Disclaimer for full details.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Editorial Policy as our practices, tools, and standards evolve. Changes are posted on this page with a revised “Last updated” date.
